Every fact on TouchGrass Culture comes from a named source, shown with the day we read it, and what we do not know is shown as not known. The catalogue in service was checked on 14 October 2026.

What we read

We read the places’ own websites. Next to each fact you find the page we read, the words it says and the day we read them.

How often we read

Each night we read again every page a fact here rests on, and check the facts before they reach this site. Other pages of a place’s website we read at least once a week.

We read each place at most once a day, under our own name, and only what its robots.txt allows. How we read, for venues

A fact we have not seen on its page for more than seven days is no longer shown: it becomes not known.

What “not known” means

When a place’s pages do not state a fact, we show “not known” where the fact would be. We never guess.

Hours not known never means closed. A place is closed on a day only when its own words say so, and we quote them.

A price not stated never means free. Free means the place says so for that day.

When two pages of a place say different things, we hold the fact back until we have checked it. Today no fact is held back.

How the texts are written

Every sentence on these pages is filled in from the facts, with fixed wording. No text written by a language model appears here unless a person has read it first.

Money

We take no money from any place: no commission, no advertising, no paid placement. Nothing paid decides what is shown or in what order; every list says the one fact it is ordered by.

Tickets are the place’s own. Every link goes to the place’s own page, never to a reseller.

The list began with the places of the first TouchGrass Culture, each with facts a person had checked. More places come as we learn to read them reliably.
